We loved the charming old architecture and the stunning sea view from our room. The bar was a great spot to unwind after a long day. however, it was odd that it wasn't open on New Year's Eve. it was a memorable experience!

    early closing times

Great place, just a few bumps!

Just came back from a 2-night stay. The views are stunning and the staff is super friendly. Room was comfy and clean, and breakfast was decent, especially the self-service hot options. Only thing was the bar and restaurant closed way too early for my liking, so if you're looking for late-night vibes, this ain't it!

    beautiful charm
    tired room
    need for clean-up

The location was perfect for exploring Lynton and the surrounding areas, with stunning views of the sea right from our room. The building itself has a beautiful charm, and the staff, especially at reception, were friendly and made our stay enjoyable. the room needed some attention as it felt a bit tired and could use a good clean-up. it was a satisfactory stay with room for improvement.

    breathtaking views
    attentive staff
    perfect location
    cold shower
    dated facilities

I really enjoyed the stunning views from my room. Just breathtaking. The location is perfect for exploring local walks, right near the cliff railway and shops. The staff stood out for being friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. the room could use some updates. It felt a bit dated and the bathroom was quite cold. The shower didn't have a powerful spray and varied from hot to cold. I wish there were more power outlets, too. I skipped breakfast since I heard it was quite basic, but I did notice the dining area wasn't always spotless.

The staff made our stay unforgettable, especially my sons' excitement over the upgraded room with stunning sea view. We relished breakfast, and the central location allowed us to explore beautiful Lynton easily. Truly, a remarkable family getaway.

My children wished there were more activities for them at the hotel.
